Ungrateful or Gut Instinct?

Have you ever walked away from a “good thing”,  something your family and friends urged you to stick with? Or perhaps you have decided to leave home or try a new career? I think most times in our society we care a lot about how things look, we forget what truly matters is how things are. For example, if you have read or seen Pride and Prejudice, you would know there is a part where Elizabeth is deemed ungrateful by her mother for turning down the offer to marry her cousin. Ew. Moving on. In the eyes of her family it may have been seen as ungrateful to turn down financial security but her gut instinct told her no, so thats that. Later on she married Mr. Darcy who had more money than he could ever spend. So which is she? Ungrateful or instinctual? I think she trusted her instincts regardless of the consequences which led her to her true happiness. Yes there are expectations and responsibilities in this world we have to open up to but perhaps there is more than one way to get there. The right way is never the easiest way. So break up with that person, leave your job and start walking by faith into a world made for you. Take a leap of faith, it might just get you there.
